Across the entire region, architects, builders, property developers and others are challenged to achieve high-performing, resilient buildings and communities.
Now is the time to demonstrate leadership and gain recognition for those buildings that are influencing, informing and inspiring the high-performance planning, design, construction and operations processes.
Group 1: Absolute carbon intensity per functional unit (gross square meters in use).
Group 2: Relative carbon intensity: year to year performance improvement, while the baseline is September 2017 to August 2018.
2 categories of entry (a) Office Building and (b) Shopping Centre of the size of 20,000 square meters or above.
Participating projects must be located in Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan and Korea markets.
Participating projects must be completed and put into operation on or before September 1, 2017 to be eligible for both competitions.
For newer buildings commissioned after September 1, 2017 and before August 31, 2018, could still be enrolled for assessment in absolute carbon intensity per functional unit (Group 1).
